Cut to the Smoke asked us to create a new website for their premium hand-crafted and milled custom salt for meat and vegetables. Their previous website was also quite slow to navigate so they asked for a quicker, more reliable and semi future-proof website.

The Process

Phase 1: Discovery & Planning

Sitting down with the founder, Nigel, we discovered the current snag points on the old website which he wanted to avert. The previous website wasn’t suitable to showcase their new premium brand of salts as that is the direction the company has gone, compared to their previous range.

Phase 2: Design & Development

Using the latest version of WordPress, we designed & developed a fully custom Soup Digital Child Theme tailored for Cut to the Smoke.
